I’ve been a supporter of WayFindersAfrica for over 10 years - first as Pastor of Global Outreach at Kentwood Community Church in Michigan, and now as a board member.

I’ve traveled to Mozambique four times with WayFinders and have witnessed first-hand the impact of this ministry in Nampula, at the Maratane Refugee Camp, and in surrounding villages.

Church Growth in Mozambique

Since 2013, WayFinders has partnered with Pastor Abel Nove, the Wesleyan Church's district superintendent in northern Mozambique. His use of The Jesus Film has led to thousands of salvations and baptisms, and dozens of new churches.

Training Leaders, Transforming Communities

Four years ago, WayFinders helped him launch Nampula Bible College to train pastors and ministry leaders. Hundreds have since been equipped for ministry.

This year, 30 students are enrolled, receiving not only theological education but also skills in

computers, metalwork, and sewing—enabling them to support their families and churches.

Some now run small businesses or plant new churches in remote areas.

To meet the growing need for trained pastors, Pastor Nove envisions expanding the college with new classrooms, a library, and a dormitory.
